Join us for an unforgettable evening filled with street food, live performances, local vendors, family-friendly fun, and cultural pride. Street/Traffic Plan
Public Parking at Pacific Renaissance Plaza (PRP)
We’ve received community feedback regarding access to the PRP parking garage during evening hours.
Updated Hours of Operation (per City of Oakland):
- 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM, seven days a week
Important Note:
- For safety reasons, one side of the garage closes earlier in the evening.
- Access remains available through the Franklin Street entrance until 10:00 PM.
We encourage all visitors to Chinatown to use the Franklin Street entrance if arriving later in the evening to ensure uninterrupted access.

Oakland Asia Cup
Join us for a high-energy celebration of basketball, culture, and youth empowerment! The Asia Cup Streetball Showdown is an invite-only tournament featuring:
- Youth 3-on-3 Tournament
Teams organized by Bay Area regions (Peninsula, South Bay, East Bay, Tri-Valley)
Divisions: Ages 11–12, 13–14, 15–17, 18+ (Open Division)
Format: Half-court, round robin into championship brackets - Adult 5-on-5 Cultural Showcase
Teams representing countries of origin (e.g., Team China, Team Laos)
Format: Full-court, round robin into championship brackets - Free Skills Clinic
Shooting, ball handling, defense, and basketball IQ
Sponsored by All Good Living Foundation - Motivational Speeches
Hear from athletes and leaders on identity, discipline, and breaking barriers - Free Throw Contest & Open Play Zones

For your convenience, there is an underground lot below the
Pacific Renaissance Plaza (388 9th St, Oakland, CA 94607) with 24-hour security. Parking is $4/hour.
The closest BART station is
12th Street BART Station at Broadway in Oakland. Walk south on Broadway to 8th Street and turn left. From the
Lake Merritt BART Station. Exit at the 8th Street exit and walk west on 8th Street for 5 blocks.
